Our staff is always there to help clients discover ways of living independently. Staff helps fill out forms (paper and online) and direct clients to the organizations that can do what we can’t. We even have a resource desk manned from 9am-10am and 11am-1pm where you can come and ask question, or get help with using the client computers. It is a big part of Five Star’s job to assist our clients as best we can in making their lives as dignified and joyful as possible.
We also work with many community partners to bring their expertise and resources directly to our clients so they can learn of all the opportunities for assistance that exist in our area. We invite organizations working in healthcare, housing, medicare/medicaid, and many other fields to personally present their missions to our participants.
