Good morning! First of all, thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! This past weekend, y’all made our trivia night a roaring success, and an excellent good time. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped us raise $19,870.30, which we can put directly to work in supporting the wonderful seniors who rely on Five Star Center for essential support and services. If you missed the event, you didn’t just miss fun trivia - you also missed our big announcement! We are entering our 50th year of service to Saint Louis, and we are asking you to help us prepare for another 50 years of service. Get used to this number, because you’re going to see it a lot: announcing our 50 for 50 Campaign! Our goal is to raise $50,000 over the next 12 months to celebrate our fiftieth anniversary. That money will be used to repair and bolster our building so that we will be around for another 50 years in order to keep serving seniors in our community. There will be all sorts of fun announcements and events throughout the year, including our 50 Stars. We are going to use this opportunity to thank so, so many people who have made Five Star Center a reality for the past half century, and so we will be recognizing one star weekly for the next year. Look for our first Star later this week!
